It is Valentine’s Day. Please remember to be patient today. Why? Because restaurants are on a wait list. The checkout line at the grocery store will be long. Florists might not have the flowers or arrangements you were hoping to purchase. Spas and salons are booked and appointments are most likely running behind. And parking lots and garages near popular hot spots are going to be near capacity or full.

As someone who has worked in the service industry for 20 plus years, I can tell you Valentine’s Day is one of the most hectic days of the year for us. But we are doing the best we can. Please do not get upset and scream or cry if you have to wait or things don’t turn out exactly as you had hoped. It is not the end of the world. You can also choose to purchase that special someone a gift card and plan for another day when things are not as crazy busy.
