Dear Men:

If you were hot stuff in your youth, good for you. But when you hit 35, 40, 50+ that may not be the case anymore. And if you are trying to get 21 year olds interested in you, it can happen, but not for the reasons you think. They refer to you as, “that old guy,” who buys drinks for them at the club/who I spend time with/ who buys me stuff/ who I stay with, and a variety of other scenarios. If you don’t mind and are flattered someone younger is with you, keep at it. But do not fool yourself into thinking it is more than a temporary thing. I hear them talk. They see nothing wrong with what they are doing and have no shame either.
