Keeping it clean

I stopped at GetGo for gas, my free coffee for Veterans, and to use the car vacuum. Two of the vacuums I tried were barely working so I went and spoke to the manager. He told me the technician had been there to service them the previous day. The issue they have is people are careless when they use their vacuums. They have been clogged with shirts, bathing suits, marbles, and all kinds of debris from customer’s cars. I was appalled. My vehicle gets messy from cinders, dry leaves, sand, or if I spill trail mix. There have been times where I’ve been using the vacuum and heard coins or a bobby pin go up the hose and hoped it didn’t clog the machine.

Folks, use of those vacuums are a courtesy. But if they keep being abused GetGo could take them away. Those aren’t the manager’s words, but it can happen in any industry with any business. Or in your personal life. If you don’t appreciate what someone is doing for you and treat them like they don’t matter, they can easily disappear from your life.
