I was informed yesterday someone I dated a long time ago is going through a divorce. I am sorry to hear that. Even though we didn’t work out, I have no ill feelings toward him. And it was hard to admit at the time we ended, that we were not right for one another. I also learned he has moved out of their marital home. From what friends and acquaintances have relayed to me, divorce can be messy, painful, and expensive. So I wish them both the best of luck at this time. But I also remember his personality and demeanor. And if I could have been in her head right before she said her vows I would have whispered, “He is not marriage material.”
