I went to the mall yesterday and bought a pair of boots I’ve had my eye on. My size fit too loose so I went down one. I tried them on and told myself they would be fine. But when I put them on this morning and headed for the door I felt them rub my ankles. I knew immediately there was no way I could last a day in them. I would be miserable, have blisters, and out a lot of money. Right now they are boxed up in my car and ready to go back later today. So what’s my point? It’s not necessarily about shoes. When something looks good, you admire it from afar and finally decide to go for it, that doesn’t mean it will be the right thing for you. It’s not defeat, it’s not giving up, and it’s not that you haven’t given something a chance. It’s called saving yourself a lot of aggravation. Enjoy your day everyone. I hope you got something out of this post.
