I have worked in several aspects of the service industry. There are always negative reviews and complaints from clients/customers about not being able to get in with a particular employee or not at all. But when a person’s book is always full, you can’t get a table in their section, or you continually get the new employees in the place, it’s not them, it’s you. If you don’t tip, if you don’t tip enough, are late for appointments, or expect people to wait on you hand and foot, that COULD BE why you are getting shafted. And you can argue that tipping is not required and you are the customer so you should be taken care of. True. But trust me that when you exited and there was no gratuity left and if you were rude, the person who took care of you was not happy and let the other employees know. You could then be red flagged in their system or they let the administrative staff know they do not want you placed with them. If you examine yourself and do not feel there is anything you could do differently, you have the option to go elsewhere and see what happens.
