I have heard people grumbling about how they don’t want to take their daughters to see The Barbie Movie. They are complaining it is too over the top, too pink, too fabricated, and on and on. I am not a parent, but here are my thoughts. If another Lego Movie came out, would you take your kids to see it? How about Transformers? Paw Patrol? Spongebob Squarepants? If Sesame Street Live was coming to town and your kids wanted to go would you get tickets? How about Pepa Pig Live? Or The Wiggles? Disney on Ice? If your answer to any of these is yes, sit with that answer. Take your daughter to see Barbie. If you are still dragging your feet on it call me. I will take her. And I guarantee your daughter and I will have a great time.
