On this Independence Day, I am thankful for my independence. I make my own decisions, I have my own car, I make my own money, I pay my bills, and I can come and go as I please. Occasionally I come across people who don’t have those things. Their life is dictated by someone else and they have very little freedom. I am glad that is not my situation.
