There is a lot of diversity in the world. Now more than ever, people come from various backgrounds, ways of life, and have very different beliefs. If you claim someone is being “racist” and I ask why, don’t tell me I don’t understand, go into a rant and delete me from social media. Or if I get your gender wrong because you “identify” as something else, please don’t fly off the handle about it. Educate me. Tell me your point of view in a constructive way. And my asking for an explanation does not mean I am challenging you or being a jerk. I want to learn and understand something I may not be aware of due to our being raised differently, coming from a separate generation or just not knowing because it is a concept that is foreign to me.
