My social media page reminded me of this post from several years ago:
I was in the parking lot of the complex I work at and there were a few people outside talking. I didn’t hear the whole conversation, but I heard one man say to the group, “Well I guess if he wanted to move on he felt he had to distance himself from everyone.” I thought to myself, “Yeah, I know how that goes.”
Sometimes the best way to begin a new chapter is to distance oneself for a while or just cut the ties. And if we are left wondering what happened to a friendship, it is wise to remember we are all here for our own journey. You can’t take everyone with you as you move along. The other person might have decided to do it solo.
