I believe there is more than one way to catfish an individual. You could meet up with someone you met online and find out they lied about their gender, they used a bogus picture, or weren’t truthful about the details of their life. And then there is a situation where you were told a lot of wonderful things over the phone, in emails, and through texts, but in reality that person is a dud and it was all talk.
