My neighbor who is 17 went to Homecoming this weekend. Her boyfriend got permission from the principal for his band to play in the cafeteria during lunch and when their song was over he asked her to the dance. I saw the video and it was very sweet and quite a grand gesture. Sigh. When I was in high school I got followed out of 1st period English when the bell rang and asked, “Hey Killeen, will you go to Homecoming with me?”
